Leila Alem Hammoud
Leila Alem Hammoud is a partner at Alem & Associates and leads our Employment and Social Security Practice Group.
She advises on Labor issues, including employment, advisory and consulting agreements. She also acts for numerous companies advising on personnel regulations, workman compensation, social security structure and labor related litigation.
Leila Hammoud is also engaged in advising and
preparing complete sets of internal employment policies for companies established in Lebanon and in other Arab countries in compliance with the respective Labor laws and regulations in force.
Leila Hammoud has developed expertise on counseling Educational Institutions, not only on matters related to labor laws but also on specific regulations and laws that govern such institutions. In this respect, Leila advises the most reputable schools and educational institutes in the region.
She undertook a participation in the Blue Flag interactive online guide for employment and personnel share plans with Linklaters & Alliance.
She has also contributed to the publication
Enforcements of Foreign Judgments in Lebanon (Enforcement of Foreign Judgments - Kluwer) 1997.
Leila Hammoud has graduated from the Lebanese University with both, LL.B and LL.M.
