Lina Najmeddine

Lina Najmeddine heads the Maritime & Insurance Law Practice of Alem & Associates.

She advises on maritime cargo claims, including rules to charterparties, interpretation of bills of loading, loss and damage to cargo, and contracts for the carriage of goods by sea.

Lina has acted several times for vessel seizure and release, and manages legal issues for vessel owners.

Lina also advises on insurance risk assessment, insurance claims, third party liabilities and maritime insurance claims.

Also, she brings her experience to the Litigation Practice Group where she acts for a broad number of local and international clients on a variety of litigation related cases. In addition, Lina handles high-end civil status cases.

Lina teaches law and economics at technical institutes in Beirut.

She graduated from the Lebanese University with a LL.M degree.
