Rola Nizar Tabsh

Rola Tabsh is a partner at Alem & Associates and heads the Corporate Practice Group.

Ms. Tabsh has experience in a wide variety of domestic and international corporate transactions in the formation of new businesses, drafting of relevant agreements, regulatory procedures and advising clients in respect of their businesses. She extends her advice to mergers and acquisitions, tender offers, joint ventures, strategic alliances and counseled companies on corporate governance. Clients include investment houses, technology, consumer products, retail, manufacturing, real estate, restaurants, telecommunications, textiles, transportation and others.

Rola currently advises the "Lebanon Corporate Governance Task Force" proposing amendments to existing legislation such as the Lebanese Code of Commerce.

Rola holds a LL.B degree from the Lebanese University and has also undergone several special legal training courses on corporate governance, VAT and transparency.

She joined the Beirut Bar in 1995 and was registered as a Lawyer on 25-09-1998.

Rola speaks Arabic, French and English.
